2009 Official Hahnenkamm Poster
Artist: Elmar Peintner
The 21st Hahnenkamm Art Poster was designed by Tyrolean artist Elmar Peintner. At present he ranks among the internationally renowned contemporary artists in Tyrol. He has been invited to numerous exhibitions in the whole of Austria, in Europe and Overseas. The fact that he was awarded prizes by international biannual graphic art exhibitions in Belgium, Poland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, USA, Sweden and Brazil testifies the artist’s constantly increasing popularity. In all his works of art Peintner proves to be a silent observer of nature and the human being. At the same time he is an artist for whom drawing and painting means revealing structures and looking beyond the sheer outer appearance of nature and man.

For 20 years the Hahnenkamm posters have been created by artists. Collecting these posters has become sort of a passion for art and poster collectors.
