RACE COURSE „GANSLERN“ SLALOM

Due to the positive experiences in January 2007 the slalom 2008 is driven on a new course. This course offers more tension through alternating terrain, changing gradient und higher speed. The elevation difference is 17 meters plus compared to the old course.

The start section at “Hinterganslern” is followed by a sharp edge leading into a steep pitch where racers have to reduce speed. The middle section ends in a transition into a technically demanding sequence of unrythmically set gates requiring perfect tec

Immediately after passing the transition, the last gates at “Hohenegg” come as a mental test: thousands of spectators lining the natural stadium encourage racers to once more give their all.
